The Woodstock Junior Wolverines are proud to host our “Try Lax” introductory lacrosse clinics, designed to give new players a fun, energetic, and supportive first experience with the fastest game on two feet. Our mission is to introduce young athletes to the fundamentals of lacrosse through engaging drills, positive coaching, and an environment focused on excitement, teamwork, and confidence-building.
We are hosting three free events on the following dates:

All clinics will run from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hobgood turf field, located at 4700 Towne Lake Pkwy, Woodstock, GA 30189.
Sessions will be led by Woodstock High School Head Coach Sam Rose, with support from coaches and players from both the high school and middle school lacrosse programs. Participants will enjoy fun, fast-paced, and developmentally appropriate reps modeled after the drills used at official Wolverines practices. Whether this is your athlete’s first time picking up a stick or their first chance to explore a new sport, they’ll be introduced to the fundamentals of cradling, passing, catching, shooting, and movement — all while having a great time.
No equipment is required. We will provide sticks and all necessary gear, though athletes who already have their own equipment are encouraged to bring it.
The “Try Lax” clinic is completely free, and our goal is simple:
Make lacrosse fun, accessible, and memorable for every new player who steps on the field.
We can’t wait to introduce your athlete to the game and show them what it means to be a Junior Wolverine!

Register for the Middle School Spring 2026 Season!!
Woodstock Middle School Spring 2026 Season Information
Registration Cost: $380 per player
(Cost includes player pack consisting of: Shooter shirt, practice pinnie, game shorts, & reversible jersey)
Registration closes: January 11th, 2026
Practices will be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the High School Lower Field.
First practice will be Tuesday January 13th, 2026.
Games will be played primarily on Saturdays with some Sunday games potentially. Game schedule is TBD but should start beginning of March and end conclude the beginning of May. Home games will be played on the turf field.
