SAM ROSE| VARSITY HEAD COACH

Coach Sam Rose is proud to lead the Woodstock High School Men's Lacrosse program and is excited to build something special with the Wolverines. A Marietta native, Sam is a graduate of Pope High School, where he was a four-year letterman on the varsity lacrosse team.
Coach Rose began his coaching career in 2017, with early stops in the Pope lacrosse program and at Walton High School, where he was part of the coaching staff that helped secure the 2019 GHSA State Championship. He most recently served as an assistant coach at Etowah High School, where he helped guide the girls' team to a state playoff appearance.
In addition to his coaching experience, Coach Rose is a passionate social studies teacher. He holds a Master's degree in Secondary Social Studies Education from the University of Georgia and currently teaches high school social studies. He spent the past year teaching at Northview High School while continuing to coach within the Pope Middle School lacrosse program.
Now residing in Woodstock with his fiancé Lexi and their dog Bo, Coach Rose is fully committed to growing the Woodstock Men's Lacrosse program and fostering a culture of hard work, integrity, and excellence both on and off the field.
